When Rescue Agency conducts its formative research with teens across the country, it’s obvious that a top priority for high school students is their social life.
They are particularly concerned with appearing attractive to peers that they are interested in. Using this observation, Rescue Agency’s Social Change Studio sought out to produce a commercial for the Virginia Foundation of Healthy Youth’s “Ydouthink” media campaign that confronts smoking and attractiveness.
The concept was simple: teens can have different preferences in a mate’s eye color, hair style, body type, and personality, but the one thing they agree on is that being smokefree is hot.
What started as one commercial turned into 3 spots, along with a wave of discussion on the Ydouthink Facebook page. Watch the 3 commercials below and click here to learn how the Social Change Studio can make a commercial for your organization.
